Wenxuan Tang

Born in China and now based in France, my path did not follow the benches of fine arts academies. I studied science and political science, but it is life—my experiences and my own sensitivity—that has shaped my perspective. I am self-taught, driven by a talent I chose to cultivate on my own, with both discipline and freedom.

My school is the world. My compass is love: love for life, for nature, for all beings. Wonder is my fuel.

What deeply drives me is the intensity and subtlety of feelings. Capturing the light on skin, the vibration of a landscape, the truth in a gaze, the fleeting beauty of a flower. I paint life and emotions where words can no longer express what we feel.

My paintings do not stop at the borders of the canvas. They are immersive, atmospheric, allowing that invisible force to touch the heart of those who look at them.

As a natural extension of this approach, short film allows me to explore another dimension of my creativity. Through these immersive videos, I create atmospheres where story and artwork come together to deliver a visual and emotional experience.
